For the sake of update

Am under no illusion that my personal life is so interesting that i need to write about it, but it has been a long time since my last journal entry,so it feels it is time for an update (and writing helps keeping me motivated):
so i made it to my fifth and final year of architectural studies at Damascus university, just turned in my first semester design project a couple of days ago, it felt great cause this project was the best I've done yet (here is a link: http://zain1991.deviantart.com/art/Service-Center-426726778), comparing it to my previous projects i can clearly see the improvement I've made through the past five years :) :)

So, what is my idea for this contest?
To run a contest in 2 categories, Photography and Photomanipulation, with the theme "LIGHTs".
What do I want to see?
Anything related to light: it can be a candle, a fireplace, a rainbow, a strange glow, sun rays, xmas lights, dim light or bright light (but, please photographers, don't photograph the sun!: you'll ruin your camera, your eyes and ours!).
